Located down on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort is located in South Western part of Uganda, and surrounded by the most fantastic, iconic and fascinating landscapes. The lodge is located just 30 minutes’ drive from Kabala Town, and about only 2 hours’ drive from Bwindi National Park, where you will experience the amazing Gorilla tracking experiences. This lodge was formed in year 2015 and has got a number of rooms, ranging from single rooms, double rooms, triple rooms and family cottages.
Activities you can do around Lake Bunyonyi
- Gorilla Trekking: You can have your gorilla tracking done when you sleep at Lake Bunyonyi rock resort, and this may take you at least 2 hours and 30 minutes driving from the lodge to the par, basically in Ruhija sector. And after trekking, you can drive back to the lodge. The whole activity back to the lodge may take you at least 8 hours. You can also track in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
- Golden Monkey Tracking: You can enjoy the good and memorable moments with the golden monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National park when you are sleeping at Lake Bunyonyi rock resort.
- Bird watching: You can also do birding to see a number of birds in this region.
- Canoeing and boat rides along the lake.
- Zip lining and many other activities.
