For the time-strapped budget and adventure traveler, we have created an exciting Kruger Budget 3-day safari. During these 3 days, you can enjoy some of South Africa’s finest wildlife spots at a very affordable rate! On this tour, you will experience the thrill of being on safari, observing the Big Five as well as a host of antelopes, birdlife, and amphibians. Be inspired by an authentically African atmosphere in the largest game reserve in South Africa.
The Kruger budget safari kicks off daily from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. Guests should aim to arrive at the OR Tambo bus terminal by 6:30 am. Upon booking, detailed instructions will be provided. The shuttle departure is scheduled no later than 7:00 am.
At Nelspruit, there will be a vehicle changeover, transitioning to a smaller vehicle for the final leg of the journey, approximately an hour's drive to the lodge.
Anticipate reaching our lodge in Hazyview by approximately 11:30 am. Following check-in, guests can relax and freshen up before embarking on an exhilarating open-sided 4×4 game drive in Kruger National Park, commencing at 3:30 pm. The lodge is conveniently situated about 15–20 minutes' drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate.
Post-safari, return to the lodge to unwind and enjoy drinks on the deck at the bar, creating a tranquil prelude to the dinner served at 7:00 pm in the restaurant area.

This morning, you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open-sided land cruisers.
The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants (at your own account). After lunch, we'll start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park.
During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our tour, we’ll make our way back to our lodge or camp. Dinner will be served at the bush bistro.
Today marks the final day of your African Kruger budget safari. This morning presents you with a choice between a serene morning at the lodge, relishing its fantastic amenities, or opting for another invigorating morning game drive.
Should you decide to stay at the lodge, a delightful breakfast awaits you at the restaurant. If you join us for the morning safari, a delightful picnic-style breakfast will be provided at one of the park's scenic picnic spots. Please note that the optional morning game drive is approximately ZAR 1080.00 per person (payable at the lodge).
At around 11:00 am, our shuttle will collect you from the lodge's reception for your return journey to Johannesburg. There will be a short transfer to a larger shuttle departing at 1:00 pm. Expect to arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at approximately 5:30 pm. We recommend not booking a flight earlier than 7:30 pm to ensure ample time for airport procedures.
