Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, you'll be greeted by your ranger and guide. Depending on your arrival time, you'll have the opportunity for a quick lunch or a refreshing dip in the pool, immersing yourself in the lodge's natural surroundings. Later, embark on an unforgettable 2-hour sunset mokoro safari along the Boteti River. As you glide along the river, keep an eye out for wildlife such as hippos and crocodiles, while marveling at the diverse birdlife. Your experienced mokoro guide will share fascinating insights about the river and its inhabitants. Pause at one of the banks for a refreshing drink, soaking in the spectacular sunset. After your mokoro adventure, freshen up before gathering around the open fire. Indulge in a delicious, traditionally prepared meal and a glass of wine while soaking in the breathtaking scenery and listening to the nocturnal calls of the wild.

After indulging in a delightful cooked breakfast, your guide will prepare the vehicle and gather your luggage. Following a briefing from your guide, embark on a journey to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, often referred to as the pulsating heart of the Okavango, approximately a 3 to 4-hour drive away. Here, your safari adventure will commence. As you enter Moremi, your game ranger will offer light snacks while skillfully interpreting wildlife sightings in a unique manner. Moremi is a land of contrasts, featuring winding waterways intertwined with a peninsula of dry land known as the 'Mopane Tongue'. Thriving mopane trees contribute to the area's exceptional density and diversity of animal sightings, including thrilling encounters with leopards. Bordered by Chobe National Park to the north, Moremi covers nearly a third of the Okavango Delta's total area. As night falls, gather around the open fire to savor a delicious meal while being serenaded by the nocturnal sounds of the wilderness. Prepare for an overnight stay in Moremi, surrounded by the untamed beauty of the African bush.

Rising at the crisp and crack of dawn, you will wake up to the sounds of birdcalls. As you step out of your tent, you will be greeted by friendly faces and a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee. You will have some time to refresh while your hearty breakfast is made. You will continue your safari and make your way to several places of interest within the reserve, including major floodplains, waterholes, and breeding areas for large animal herds. A pristine safari paradise, the Moremi Game Reserve preserves the heart of Africa’s finest wildlife viewing area known for the abundance of fascinating wildlife, with plentiful predators and prey to observe. After a long and usually tiring but always exciting day, you will make your way late in the afternoon to your beautiful lantern-lit campsite. Here you will meet the rest of the camping team, often getting the smell of your traditional dinner being freshly prepared, as you approach. We will overnight in Moremi.

Awaken to the harmonious melodies of the untouched African bushveld. Indulge in a delectable breakfast, soaking in the boundless scenic vistas and wildlife serenades of this diverse reserve one last time. Today marks your farewell to this land of rivers, with its enchanting acacia forests, mopane woodlands, papyrus rivers, floodplains, and lagoons. Embark on your final game drive, journeying back to Maun. With the natural ebb and flow of wildlife, there's the possibility of encountering more captivating species to add to your list. Your ranger will consult with you to discern your preferences for the day, ensuring a tailored experience and opportunities to encounter desired wildlife during your final game drive. Following lunch, commence your leisurely return journey to Maun, where you will be dropped off, including at the airport.
