This trip takes you around to experience the authentic Rwanda and her beauty from the Wildlife safaris of Akagera National Park, the sunset boat cruise, the city tours in Kigali with the genocide memorial center, cultural tours in Volcanoes National Park and Lake Kivu adventures with full relaxation. On arrival at Kigali International Airport, our Dedicated team of Hermosa Life Tours and Travel will be at the Kigali International airport for the meet and greet assistance, clear with customs. Transfer to the Kigali hotel. Enjoy hotel amenities, have dinner and rest.
Following breakfast, commence your journey towards the Eastern part of Rwanda, heading to Akagera National Park renowned for its Big 5 game safaris. As you travel, revel in the captivating landscapes and rolling hills of Rwanda, enjoying glimpses of wildlife during en route game drives.
Upon arrival at the lodge, check in and place your lunch order before taking some time to unwind. In the afternoon, embark on a serene sunset boat cruise on Lake Ihema, encountering numerous hippos and diverse bird species. Post breakfast, prepare your packed lunch boxes and set out to explore the picturesque savannahs of Akagera. Visit the Giraffe area in the southern region and traverse the scenic lakes road towards Birengero. Akagera National Park hosts a diverse wildlife ensemble including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more.
Pause for a packed lunch at the designated picnic area, followed by a final short game drive. Subsequently, embark on the return journey to Kigali city. Upon arrival at the hotel, unwind and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner before retiring for the night.
Following breakfast, commence your Kigali city tour, visiting the poignant Genocide Memorial Center, a significant historical site. Later, proceed to Musanze and explore the expansive eco-friendly facility adjacent to Volcanoes National Park. The facility includes the Sandy and Harold Price Research Center, the Rob and Melani Walton Education Center, and the Cindy Broder Conservation Gallery, along with accommodations for students and researchers. After your breakfast you will proceed to check out then go for Cultural Experiences at the Gorilla Guardians former I’byiwacu Cultural Village this place is fun with lots of Rwandan history and ancient stories.
