Have breakfast in the morning and depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Have lunch at Fort Portal and proceed in the view of the Rwenzori Mountains. You'll also have a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see various bird species, butterflies and primates. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Bigodi.

Today, immerse yourself in the renowned Kibale National Park by tracking its most famed residents—the chimpanzees. Sharing 98% of human genes, these primates stand as our closest relatives, with roughly 5,000 left in Uganda's wilds. The chimpanzee trek follows well-maintained trails within the park, home to an incredibly diverse range of primates, unmatched in East Africa. Beyond the delightful chimpanzees, encounter red Colobus, red-tailed guenon, white-nosed monkey, gray-cheeked mangabey, blue monkey, L'Hoest's monkey, and the black and white Colobus monkey. Spot olive baboons, bush babies, and nocturnal pottos. Post-tracking, enjoy a guided walk through the enchanting swamps of Bigodi.
Enjoy a leisurely morning at your lodge before continuing your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Situated at the foot of the stunning Rwenzori Mountain range and bordered by Lake Edward and Lake George, it stands as Uganda’s second-largest park. The park boasts an abundance of wildlife, including gazelles, Uganda kob, warthogs, and waterbucks. Lions are frequently spotted within and around the park, while hippos and elephants are prevalent. Keep a keen lookout for the elusive leopard basking in the sun. Later in the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive within the park to observe its diverse wildlife. Nestled in a remarkable location, Parkview Safari Lodge showcases a unique design crafted from locally sourced materials and skillfully assembled by artisans from the neighboring community.
Prepare for an early start as we kick off the day with coffee, tea, and donuts served at the lounge before embarking on an extensive morning game drive, catching the first light of the sunrise. Venture out to explore the park's wildlife, encountering elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, leopards, Ugandan kobs, and numerous warthogs. Later in the afternoon, delight in a captivating boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lake George and Lake Albert. Prepare to witness an abundance of hippos, an impressive array of animals frequenting the waterholes for drinking or bathing—including buffaloes, crocodiles, bathing elephants, and a vibrant array of beautiful birds. This unforgettable experience promises to be a tour highlight. Following the boat safari, return to the lodge through the park's scenic routes.
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park—renowned for its elusive tree-climbing lions, with a sighting chance of about 70%. While their presence can be challenging to spot, catching a glimpse of these majestic creatures hunting in the grasslands is a remarkable sight. Proceed onward to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a significant habitat for Uganda's mountain gorillas, housing an estimated 400 individuals—nearly half of the global population. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and unwind, preparing for the upcoming Bwindi gorilla trekking adventure scheduled for the following day.
Following an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, venture into the gorilla sanctuary for an unforgettable adventure.
