Arusha National Park in Tanzania offers a unique wildlife experience with a variety of animals and bird species that are not always seen in the other parks of the northern safari circuit. The park covers diverse landscapes including savannah, rainforest, acacia woodlands, and alpine vegetation, providing habitats for many species.

Key Wildlife Species

Giraffe: The park is home to the world's largest population of giraffes, often seen gracefully walking in front of Mount Meru.

Best Time to Visit for Wildlife

The dry season from June to October is the best period for wildlife viewing when the vegetation is thinner and animals gather near water sources. April tends to be very wet, which may limit access and viewing opportunities.
