Transformed into a stylish boutique hotel with harmonious interiors, antiques and rich fabrics, it is one of the oldest buildings in Zanzibar, constructed in 1885 by Sir Tharia Topan, Wazir to Sultan Said Bargash. Apart from coffee, the café also serves a selection of cakes, muffins, wraps, mini-pizzas and other delicacies.
