Bontebok National Park, South Africa

Bontebok National Park near Swellendam is South Africa's smallest national park, established in 1931 to save the bontebok antelope from extinction. Set along the Breede River amid coastal fynbos and renosterveld, it now protects healthy populations of bontebok, Cape mountain zebra and grey rhebok. The park offers gentle walking trails, riverside swimming, birding and a peaceful base for exploring the Cape Overberg.
