A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to almost half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. This ancient rainforest blankets steep ridges in southwestern Uganda and offers unforgettable gorilla trekking, along with 350 bird species and 120 mammals. Its dense, misty slopes are among the most biodiverse habitats in East Africa.
