Chewore Safari Area, Zimbabwe
Chewore Safari Area forms part of the Mana Pools UNESCO World Heritage complex on the Zambezi. This vast, remote wilderness of rugged hills, gorges and river frontage supports elephant, buffalo, lion and large numbers of hippo and crocodile, and it is managed primarily for low-impact wilderness safaris and controlled hunting concessions.
