Ebony Forest Reserve at Chamarel is a privately run conservation project restoring native Mauritian forest on the island's southwest, where boardwalks and viewpoints such as the Sublime Point lead visitors through replanted ebony groves alive with pink pigeons, geckos and endemic plants, plus a canopy walkway.
