Kafue National Park, Zambia

Kafue National Park is the largest national park in Zambia and one of the biggest in Africa, covering more than 22,000 square kilometres of miombo woodland, rivers and the vast Busanga Plains. Its remote wilderness supports a remarkable diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, red lechwe and over 500 bird species. The seasonally flooded Busanga Plains in the north offer some of the most spectacular game viewing in the country.
