Langue de Barbarie National Park, Senegal
Langue de Barbarie National Park is a slender sandspit at the mouth of the Senegal River near Saint-Louis, protecting Atlantic beaches, lagoons and dunes that serve as a critical nesting site for sea turtles and a haven for gulls, terns, pelicans and other coastal seabirds.
