Ankasa Conservation Area, Ghana
Ankasa Conservation Area protects Ghana's only wet evergreen rainforest, the most biodiverse habitat in the country near the Ivorian border. Its dense jungle, rivers and the tranquil Bamboo Cathedral shelter forest elephants, bongo, Diana monkeys and hundreds of bird and butterfly species.
