Bia National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in western Ghana, protects some of the country's last intact upland evergreen and semi-deciduous forest. Towering trees shelter forest elephants, bongo, chimpanzees and ten primate species, along with over 160 birds and countless butterflies.
