Kitulo National Park — Entry Fees & Practical Info

Kitulo National Park is one of the most unique national parks in Tanzania, known for its botanical significance and distinct biodiversity. It covers 413 square kilometers and is located on an altitude of over 2,600 meters above sea level in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. The park is famous for its floral abundance with over 350 species of plants including orchids, and is referred to as the "Serengeti of Flowers." It was declared a national park in 2005 and is the first in Africa primarily established to protect plant life. The park offers a cool temperate climate and is home to over 400 bird species and other fauna like Mountain reedbuck and elands.
