Maze National Park is a grassland and savanna park in the Gamo Gofa zone, crossed by the Maze River. It is one of the last strongholds of the endangered Swayne's hartebeest, and its open plains and riverine woodland also support Bohor reedbuck, oribi, greater kudu, warthog and over 190 bird species.
