Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most popular savanna reserve, set between Lakes Edward and George in the western Rift Valley. Famous for the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha, boat cruises along the Kazinga Channel, elephants, buffalo, hippos and over 600 bird species, it spans nearly 2,000 sq km of grassland, wetland and crater lakes.
