Kogyae Strict Nature Reserve protects a rare transition zone where southern forest meets northern savanna in central Ghana. Set aside mainly for research and conservation, its grasslands, woodland and gallery forest shelter buffalo, kob, bushbuck, baboons and a wide diversity of birds and plants.
