Nata Bird Sanctuary โ€” Entry Fees & Practical Info

Nata Bird Sanctuary is a community-managed conservation area at the north-eastern edge of the Sua Pan, part of the Makgadikgadi system. When the pans flood after the rains, tens of thousands of greater and lesser flamingos gather here alongside pelicans, ducks and other waterbirds in one of southern Africa's most important breeding sites. The sanctuary is run by surrounding villages and offers game drives, birding hides and a viewing platform over the shimmering pan.
