Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary surrounds the Owabi reservoir just west of Kumasi, a Ramsar wetland of forest, water and marsh. It is one of Ghana's best birding sites, hosting over 160 species alongside monkeys, antelope and butterflies, with an arboretum and easy trails close to the city.
