Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park spans the border of South Africa and Botswana across the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert. This vast arid wilderness is renowned for its black-maned Kalahari lions, cheetahs, leopards and raptors, with game concentrating along the dry Auob and Nossob riverbeds. Its stark red sand, sparse camelthorn trees and huge skies deliver some of the most photogenic and remote safaris in Africa.
