Sioma Ngwezi National Park, Zambia

Sioma Ngwezi National Park is a remote, little-visited wilderness in far south-western Zambia, forming part of the vast Kavango-Zambezi transfrontier conservation area. Its Kalahari woodland and teak forests support elephant, giraffe, zebra, wild dog and antelope, with wildlife gradually recovering as anti-poaching efforts strengthen. Nearby the spectacular Sioma (Ngonye) Falls on the Zambezi add a scenic highlight to this true frontier destination.
